Sadly when Nelius is asked about his past, or his family he feels bad that he does not have much to say. Other then running away with his brother to live in Tevinter, nothing he deemed interesting has happened. He grew up with two parents, was raised with a fair about of freedom and had little trouble with getting what he wanted out if life. His brother meant a lot to him and they spent most of their years growing the strong bond that was only broken later in their teen years. Not that Nelius has any problems with his brother, even when he had to runaway from home for his brother sake he never thought of it as his brother's fault. They left the Anderfels as teens when the family found out that his brother had a strong connection to controlling magic. If they wanted to keep his brother safe, staying home was no loner the best idea. So they left, with the plan of living in the Tevinter Imperium. Only hoping that his brother could take up am apprenticeship and continue to live free.

Nelius's brother eventually disappeared one night, with no word and has been missing ever since. Nelius decided to continue living in Tevinter, not longer sure if returning home was a poor choice or not. He lived off the streets for only a short time, most of it he was able to get by with taking random labor jobs. Soon enough he was taken in by a well known magister, who had a daughter. Nelius was still only a young man at the time, in his late teens, but he was taken into the home and became a overall cross-trained help in the household. Only later, in his beginning years of adulthood did he take to the job of being Sythnia Novallas' personal driver/escort. Nelius would not even be able to put into words how it happened, but one day he went from sweeping, to driving and never looked back. He has little problem with the job, he gets feed, a bed to sleep, nothing else is really important once you realized you are set to live a pretty nice life as long as you do the job expected of you.

There is one person that Nelius does have a bit of a bone to pick with, that man would be Sythnia's father. Although the man keeps Nelius feed and fairly well paid, he has done a poor job of keeping the young man happy with him. Starting off with the fact that he's the reason Nelius wears an eye patch, although not fully blind in his right eye he does not see as well as he used to. Now only seeing in lights and shadows mostly, all for some experimentation to help Sythnia see again. To be fair Nelius does not even know if his involvement had any help in Sythnia's case, but would have like to of had a choice. The years working for her father did point out one very important thing, Nelius has no where to go, no family, no friends, this is his home, weather he likes it or not.

SPECIALIZATION: Any specialization or ability from DA:O or DA2 is in play, but what the character knows or is capable of should make sense for their history and race. Higher ranked canon characters such as Warden-Commanders and First Enchanters may start with two specializations and more abilities/spells, within reason and subject to staff approval.
