Meli & Athras She has lots of mage problems it seems xD Meli is not above passive aggressive sniping, even at magisters, political immunity or not (◡‿◡✿) She is very very ballsy. She'd also definitely be required to keep an eye on him so long as he was wandering about in her jurisdiction. Meli & Maeve Hmm...well I have a fun long-arching plan to make Meli become disillusioned with the templars so maybe somewhere along that personal little plot arc I plan to play in the background of all her posts, Maeve can be one of the stepping stones.
Like Meli could be assigned to head a search when she's spotted somewhere, she nabs her and holds her captive for a time while they travel to whatever secure location they have for mages. And Mali isn't what you'd call mage sympathizer but like she could overhear some incredibly atrocious offense to humanity they planned to do to her or that they planned to execute her by framing her for something horrible or something, and she would nope right the hell out of there before they could, cause she joined the templars to protect people, not squish mages for lols. Meli & Jay I'm pretty sure Meli has never ever seen a qunari in person before so that alone would just throw her right off the rails because all she's heard is Chantry propaganda about heathans who they drove out twice with exalted marches and crap, never once mentioned 'oh hey by the way there's qunari that actually aren't part of the same ~fanatical~ group on occasion - they're all the same crazies who we need to convert' so that would definitely be an interesting thread. Walking on eggshells isn't a Thing Meli Does, but I'm pretty sure she'd do it here because she'd have no idea how to handle that. Well, even less of an idea than her usual social ventures.

| FElix x melisande | So we definitely talked about this earlier, and since Felix is now accepted I'd like to throw him at yah. He's pretty much the golden kid of the Templars, single-handly organizing a group recruits to hold off a Darkspawn while he was a teenager is a pretty big deal. He doesn't talk much, and certainly doesn't show too much emotion. If he's given a rogue apostate, he'll kill it without thinking twice. That being said, he gets relocated quite a bit, and his own problems with how the Templars are behaving and is losing faith in the cause all the same.
All in all, It wouldn't be surprising if they were put on the same station for some time, It's totally possible they could do some duo apostate hunting together, even form a sort of friendship where Felix isn't annoying, because he never talks.

Meli & Maeve Aaa wow that could actually be a lot of fun, I actually tend to love helping progress personal plots like that! Depending on how everything goes it can probably help develop Maeve's outlook with regard to humans an what little she's probably experienced with regard to templars so far, so yeah this could be fun to pull later on!
Meli & Jay Haha, yeah I like the sound of this. Maybe a distressed Sister comes and fetches Meli because there is a QUNARI in the CHANTRY/CHANTRY LIBRARY or something? Jay would probably already know that it's not the Most Ideal Situation so she'd try to be mindful but uh, she might also ask questions and it'd be interesting to see how they bounce off of each other if at all?
Maybe depending on how this thread goes they could run into each other again later on in Meli's story arc? A not-quite Qunari and a not-quite templar, just something that sounds like it could have potential to me.

Meli & Felix Yas bwuha. I suspect he could logically be called out to be at Jader seeing as how a lot of the order that's there like to rigidly patrol the border nearby so that's a lot of manpower for both the city and border to be looked after, especially considering how the templar numbers are draining slowly because well, the order has lots its marbles |D He could have just been a temporary backup to help track down an apostate he had personal experience hunting before and was asked to stay on by a higher-up, maybe.
He'd probably be called out for apostate hunts more than her since he'd probably have more of a record of it (before the whole 'oh god the mages are rebelling' thing Meli had minimal mage interaction and was more the templar who were personal guards within a Chantry, though she's had considerable more run-ins since then :'D), but that could work in advantage of that would be how Meli would end up hearing about questionable shit going down out in the field? Like maybe they had a couple posts together before that so they were actually on civil terms and maybe Meli accidentally let slip some sarcastic remark regarding her questioning some of the choices made recently so he knows she's not entirely blindly loyal to the order =u= I'm typing out my ass right now I hope that was coherent. Meli & Maeve Heheheh sounds like a plan. Meli of course would never say outright to her she was ~letting her go~ but she'd very suddenly and conveniently have to be transferred somewhere a little farther along the road because the holding cells in whatever area they had were full and whoops maybe she didn't pay enough attention to notice when she checked the shackles to notice there was a bit too much wiggle room too them |D Meli & Jay I just ran in circles with myself about the Chantry priest thing cause I went 'yeah that works – oh wait Chantry, templars, issues – oh wait no it still works because Meli says balls to that and even if the Order isn't associated with the Chantry she still is and goes regularly so even if there's an issues of being splintered because of her occupation the priests would probably get on with her well and who better to help defend your library than a dedicated Andrastian who just happens to be heavily armed and armored' so yeah and yes I had to explain my runaround because reasons 8I
Anyhow. Yes this should be a thing. Cause I just see Meli having this double-sided conversation with herself like 'whY ARE THEY ASKING THESE THINGS ARE THEY TRYING TO SIZE US UP FOR AN ATTACK' and you could probably cut the tension with a knife because Meli cannot for the life of her figure this situation out and it would take her an embarrassingly long time to figure out no maybe they were legitimately asking about the Chantry you dope. It would be super awkward on her end |D And I wouldn't say no to a possible later run-ins as well, though I'm pretty sure Meli's brain will forever end up doing 'Oh it's Chantry qunari again' because that will just stand out forever.

DECIMA AND SYTHNIA "I know you people who have Tevinters are eyeballin' her like a piece of meat." rude. but not untrue.
these two have the same overall concept when it comes to friend. it's probably not relevant but i just find that funny. decima has a bad habit of building up her 'friends' and interpreting most of the right things to say right before she tears them right back down, whoops. i'm not sure if any of that would come into play, though? decima's only interest in politics is how far it can take her, and for that she'll play as nice as she has to lol. if you want a non political thread we can always revert to "well decima has a large sway in the slavery market if nia was ever looking for anything specific." decima likes being owed favors it is one of her very favorite things.
meli & maeve yeah this sounds great i will give you a nudge when the timing might be right and we'll see if it still fits then, y/y?
meli & jay this all sounds great and i want to do this thread RIGHT NOW it sounds like it'll be a ton of fun (for us. them maybe not so much). maybe once one of my other jay threads closes/i start being able to reply in an appropriate amount of time? l-lol
i'm not entirely sure any of this makes sense it is approaching 3 am.

| FElix x melisande | You're fine, if you want I'll start a thread where he's called to set up a base of operations near her post, knowing her personally, he'd probably ask if she's heard of any disturbances, and from there they could talk about the chantry and his wild goose hunts. Hope this works!

Nia & Decima Hmm well being influential Nia would know her regardless, I know that much – she'd shmoozed with most the Tevinter upper echelon, either through her father's social occasions or her own free will while she was testing the field of influential battle out there. They're similar so I bet they've annoyed each other a fair bit.
Hum, as for an actual thread idea for them...not sure. I do know that she already has her token elven slave though, she only needs the one when she's traveling so much :'D Most her crap like that is provided by her father. Slapping them in the same room of a stuffy social event is probably the best way...if Decima ever travels maybe its one outside the country? So she goes 'ew heathens I can't tolerate these people' and Nia is the only Tevinter there automatically making her the lest offensive company? :'D Meli & Maeve Works for me! Meli & Jay THATS FINE MY THREADS ARE PILING UP TOO SO WE CAN WAIT A BIT =u= I think I'ma make a to-do list for threads, that way I know who I technically promised threads to first. Meli & Felix That works and I definitely appreciate someone else making the openers I always stress over them =u= You can make it whenever you can/have the time for it.

nia & decima ahaha agreed on them having probably annoyed each other. no one appreciates that kind of mirror.
decima only ever really leaves tevinter on important business and, uh, i wouldn't be surprised if she was considered a walking potential political incident any time she does. that said, a stuffy social event outside of the border sounds like fun! i imagine she'd like to check out what primitive people call society/etc while she was there, but a fellow Tevene that wasn't working for her might be a .. well, yeah, let's go with least offensive company ahaha.

Nia & Decima Hmm...I'm more stuck on where to start them off thread-wise than anything cause they obviously need a few interactions =u= Nia deals with a lot of magisters even when she's traveling, most the time to get them out of trouble. Which, there's another idea - if Decima ever actually did cause a legit incident and ended up with a country who wanted her head, Nia would swoop in and casually untangle the mess and send her home |D (Hopefully before she set the country on fire...) Just blaugh ideas. Any personal preference/ideas/whatevs what be good for a starting point cause I'm just sorta left scratching my head |D

Isidora && Melisande Isidora's clan travels around the Orlais/Ferelden border more often than not, so maybe they can have interactions every once and awhile? While she really doesn't like humans I think that if a human came far enough out Isidora would probably be curious enough to investigate. Well, investigate like be confrontational about why they're coming so far out. But still. Otherwise, Isidora is bordering on overprotective when it comes to her clan, so she spends a lot of time glaring at humans from behind her mask. She doesn't act violent without reason, but that doesn't mean a few roots don't tangle up feet every once and awhile.
Otherwise otherwise she's learning blood magic, and while she doesn't just go about doing it willy nilly it's possible she could be caught practicing it. I understand Dalish mages are outside of Templar jurisdiction as long as they don't mess with humans too much, but I can still see some minor disturbance coming out of it. I don't know, I just like the idea of these two interacting in some way. Pick and choose, add and subtract.

nia & decima we could always figure out some kind of flashback thread to get them acclimated if that would make you comfortable? to like, get a feel for how they'd interact. though i'm ... not sure where/how if her father did most dealings wrt getting her things.
i would be fine with either a social setting or nia having to step in and defuse a situation before one of decima's standing agreements fall apart and she starts putting demons in noisy nobles l-lol. with the latter, though, decima might actually hate it because even if she didn't say as much she'd feel like she owed nia and she hates owing others things. she'd probably try to pay nia back as soon as she possibly could in some way or another? though i'm ... not sure exactly how yet without seeing how they interact.

Meli & Isidora Well hmm, lets see. I know being able to get Meli out where she could encounter them would be easy – most communities bitch about Dalish clans if they even spot them in the semi-related area after all, so hear enough complaints and someone will eventually send someone out to see what the fuss is about. Meli would just think it was all a buncha crap, too, because so long as someone isn't actually terrorizing any towns she doesn't see what the big deal is |D
And yeah as for the mage-y aspect normally templars leave Dalish mages alone so long as they stay away but with the order hopped up on killing all the loose supposedly crazy mages from the circles I wouldn't be surprised if you run in to one or two who've tried to smite the Dalish mages too...it wouldn't be Meli, she doesn't attack without some provocation thankfully, but I expect if there were any incidents it would make and Dalish clan members a little paranoid of templars.
Though, I know if Meli saw her practicing any blood magic that's an instant 'nope' button, that would just end in disaster :'D Meli gives a fair few mages the benefit of the doubt but if you're a blood mage ahahahah nope she'll attack 8I I dunno I'm just. Typing out my ass at this point I should have probably slept more. Nia & Decima Hmm, so, maybe stuffy horrible foreign party setting to get a better feel of their interactions then. Then later we can save Nia swoop in and save her bum and just be like 'awyiss I am good at my job' |D Flashback thread would throw me off, I have a terrible time fluxing timelines it derps my brain and I don't know why, so we can roll with the 'least offensive company at a party' roll and wing it from there. Would that work?
