plot with me, please.
The monsters inside of men, what it is to be a person, memory and dissociation, being rebuilt and rebuilt again and again and what is essential/intrinsic vs what isn't, sad brainwashed assassins and those who love them. That's what I'm trying to write, ahahahahaha.
All I know about my character so far is that about a decade and a half ago, he was somehow taken in and brainwashed and remade into an assassin by a powerful sect within the Chantry who wanted a way to eliminate those they viewed as enemies of the Maker, those who would prevent the Chant of Light from spreading all over the world. Given the uselessness of the previous Divine of the Chantry, I think it's fairly reasonable to assume most high ranking figures within the church were doing whatever they wanted for the last part of her rule; when Justinia V took over, he ended up in someone else's hands. Who they are, and how and why I'm still not sure of.
What I really want for his plot is a childhood best friend he grew up with before being remade, and a current handler who is tasked with using him as an effective tool. I have no idea where he's from or what his real name is or how/why he was captured by the Chantry; I can hammer that out with anyone who picks up his childhood best friend if you want, or I can come up with it myself and we can work from there. The handler can be anyone, affiliated with any organization; I don't care who he works for currently, as long as it makes sense. Neither does he, honestly. He's a bit of a mess.
