Jay: friends! allies! strained history with people she disagrees with! i would love to plot her with other kossith, be they tal-vashoth or qunari or just vashoth like her. i'm sure they would have conflicting worldviews next to jay so it'd be!! so much fun!!
on romance: uh i am really, really oblivious so if you want romantic or just sexual plots with my characters you're going to have to outright say so bc otherwise it'll either go right over my head or i'll be sure that's not what's going on because haha why would anyone wanna date my losers

NAMÁRIË + DECIMA: I know I haven't even apped her yet, I don't care. I'll plot with anyone. I'll plot with myself. I just really want her and Decima to thread together, omg. A Tevinter magister who uses blood magic (that might be a bit redundant) and a fiercely nationalistic Seheron elf who only dreams of a free, independent homeland for her people? This can't go anywhere nice, I think.
Depending on how often Decima leaves the Imperium proper on slave trade-y business, they could have definitely run into each other in the past, I think. If you want something more personal, even, I'm open to the idea of Namarie having had a brush with slavery/being captured for a few weeks or so back in her days as a Seheron native rebel.
It might be harder for them to squeeze in an encounter now, given their respective gulf in status, but I'm sure we can think of something!
NAMÁRIË + JAY: I really hope they can be friends! Namarie is not the biggest fan of the Qun for obvious reasons, given that it facilitated the second invasion of her homeland and touched off the ongoing conflict between Tevinter and the Qunari over Seheron, so she might provide an interesting perspective for a Tal-Vashoth grappling with identity problems?
Also given that she's not yet apped (lmao) I'm not exactly sure where she is located present day, but my gut feeling is leaning towards her being outside of Seheron, trying to raise an army gather support for the Fog Warriors. So she's probably really out of her element and trying to survive, so she might run-in with the Flying Nugs, looking for warriors to hire?
CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE GABRIEL + DECIMA: HAHA UM. Aside from being mages, they have very little in common, unless you count both of them being on the sliding scale of asshole behavior, though I think Decima tips a little further than he does, maybe.
Gabriel is interested in Tevinter, however, and I could probably finagle him a ic excuse into getting a trip there, especially after he interacts with the Tevinter ambassador in Orlais who piques his interest, and they could run into each other then? Not sure how interested she is in Grey Wardens, but he does have the magical thing going for him.
CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE LEITHIAN + JAY: An erstwhile Dalish First reconsidering what it means for her to be Dalish in light of both how they treated her city elf mother and the events that drove her away from her clan. A Tal-Vashoth debating what of her people to keep/what not to keep. Uh, I think they could be great together, depending on how things go. Leithian is tricky at times for me to predict, still.
If Jay drinks, or at least tags along with the Flying Nugs when they do, they could run into each other at Leithian's inn where she works as a terrible barkeep?

DECIMA AND NAMÁRIË: Oooh this is exciting, more bc this is kind of exactly the sort of interaction I made Decima for. It's entirely possible that she could have been responsible for a brush with the slave trade Namarie (idk where those accent marks are on my computer, sorry) might have had! I'd be happy to plot that out with you. Anything current, however, does seem kind of tricky. Whoops.
Of course, depending on whatever sort of encounter they might have had, perhaps Namarie might catch Decima's attention if/when she starts making waves?
DECIMA AND GABRIEL: Decima 4 queen of the assholes tbqh. And there could be a bit of mutual interest, actually, at least wrt magic. Decima might have heard of "Grey Warden Magic," and I'm sure she'd be interested in discovering if it's anything actually different or just a cover for any Grey Wardens who wish to use blood magic. It would actually be interesting to see just how terribly their personalities mixed. CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE JAY AND NAMÁRIË: !!! This is already really exciting! I think if things go right they could take each other incredible places character development wise, at the very least. And I'd really, really love for Jay to have friends outside of the mercenary group. And it'd be great if the Flying Nugs got some work in! Why not~
JAY AND LEITHIAN: Oooh, this could be really interesting, even if it doesn't work out how we want it to! I'd like to at least try. Jay getting dragged along with the Flying nugs in celebration of a paycheck could be great! CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE

mark happens to be a blood mage with a strong interest in tevinter magic, even if he has to go through a slaver to get to it. he's not particularly enthused about her occupation considering his own personal issues about being taken away from his family, but what's a few differences between friends?
as you can see, he's not terribly sincere, but it's nothing personal. just look at everyone that he's ever plotted with. he's having biscuits and tea with the other tevinter magister too, if that's how they got into contact. i imagine that the socially and politically powerful in tevinter are pretty well connected with each other, anyway.
while he's certainly interested in finding out more about how the power of the magisters transcend caste in tevinter society, he's also curious about other blood mages. what is the difference between decima and the apprentice mages who became abominations during the broken circle, he wonders. what are the similarities between decima and himself?
CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE this is fucking hilarious to me because decima was alya's hometown on another site, a sleepy town that she would have fought to the last breath for
alya just thinks that decima is a piece of shit who should probably burn, and she'd probably LOUDLY let her know that too, warden neutrality be dammed. if you have any fun ideas PLEASE let me know. i really love writing about alya getting pissed off at people. she doesn't actually care too much about the whole blood magic thing as much as she's pissed at the whole enslaving her kind thing. if she wasn't warden-constable then she might have even seriously considered going templar on her ass in all honesty
CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE i really want to have a different spin on an introduction plot so uh here goes
the flying nugs and freya are going after a band of highwaymen, only under different employers (maybe merchant guilds). they stumble upon the bandits at the same time. freya attacks the flying nugs while assuming that they are a part of the bandits. the flying nugs attack her, thinking that she is one of the enemy. in their tussle, the highwaymen escape.
and then we can see how things carry on from there c:

I'm perfectly willing to have Eusarius be the one sending curious outsiders Decima's way provided his mun is too, tbh. It sounds funny to me. It could be something for them to talk about later on, even.
Luckily, Decima has never been all that skilled with sincerity, either. So at least in that regard they might make some sort of match, even if neither of them would really appreciate it.
I am going to say, however, that Decima has never been so much into the act of giving out of the good in her heart as she is trading. Mark would have to be able to prove himself useful to her; perhaps bringing some sort of worthwhile trinket as a ~gesture of good faith~ or ... something. Either way, I'd like to see if we could make this work; it'd be neat if we could at least leave Mark with some food for thought. CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE Oh l-lol, that is pretty funny.
This is actually just the kind of interaction I've been looking forward to, to be honest! (Like, I'll probs have more trouble handling characters outside of Tevinter that are Completely and Totally Fine With Slavery so)
Maybe some part of the business she runs has started having enough incompetence that she feels the need to step in directly and Alya stumbles upon them as they're packing up and moving "cargo"? Or if you want something less emotionally charged and disturbing they could always run into each other in some kind of social setting or another, perhaps while the same scenario is unfolding but Decima feels like checking out how the other cultures have changed (or not) since she was last there. Either way, if Decima catches on to the whole ~grey warden neutrality~ bit she, uh, might start baiting her from behind an, ~oh well we really don't want a political incident, now do we?~ and just find the outrage a bit entertaining overall. /2 am ideas
Fair warning on basically everything to do with regard to Decima though, she can get?? Pretty cruel/creepy tbh. Like I figure that's somewhat obvious at the same time that I feel like I should warn people anyway, oops. CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE THIS IS A REALLY COOL IDEA I'M ALREADY PUMPED BUT IDK WHAT ELSE I COULD REALLY ADD TO IT? It sounds like it could be fun though, like just wing it or ... w/e. If I come back to this and still can't think of anything else to add would you want me to start it? CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE

| TYRAEL x DECIMA | I suppose this one is a bit conditional, Tyrael takes whatever job he can find on short notice to fund his expeditions. Now being so high up in the slave trade, I can't see the two of them really having a chance to meet.
That being said, Tyrael is a pretty unique mage seeing as he is one of the few living Arcane Warriors. That itself seems like something that would peak a Tevinter Magisters curiosity. Either way Tyrael likes to learn and the Tevinter Impreium seems to be a huge part of magical history, one way or another he'd be inclined to meet her and learn more about the Tevinter Imperium. Add/Subtract.
LAIKA OF GS! | TYRAEL x JAY | This plot I see panning out much better. Tyrael can be found as a mercenary quite often, and not an amateur one either. Its possible for them to know each other for a while, maybe earlier in Tyrael's mage career they could've worked together and often find themselves traveling together guarding the same person or w/e.
If you don't want to go along that path, Tyrael could just meet her by chance or hire her in an attempt to scout out some ancient ruins or something. Add/Subtract.

uh. we might want to wait then bc mark admittedly doesn't have many resources in the way of anything of monentary worth, unless i ever thread him into laying hands on an artifact. if you have any social threads w/ eusarius however, i could always send him in as an observer if moin is down with that.

dude i am all for the fast and furious plots so scenario 1 sounds a-ok to me. DUDE THIS SOUNDS HELLA FUN LET'S DO IT i can go start a thread on the imperial highway. nevarra, so it wouldn't be too out of place for a tevinter and a ferelden to meet
tbh if you don't expect creepy and disturbing from the tevinter imperium then i have no idea what game you were playing
CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE lolol since i'm starting the other thread, can you start this one? not sure if freya is stalking them at first or if the flying nugs find her first so i'll leave that for you to decide lol
i don't have any real preference on location either, so i'll leave that to you c: CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE

Actually, if Tyrael threw in a bit about it being lost elven magic Decima just might not be able to resist the delicious irony of it all, whether she'll go on to use it or not. Maybe she'd trade coin/information/something for her to be able to make a copy of the tome?
The real trick, as you mentioned, would be arranging the meeting in the first place. If he's curious about the Tevinter Imperium, perhaps he makes his way there? Or if you want him to have worked with one of her operations, perhaps his name has popped up on her desk more than once or something. Or some mixture of the two or neither, up to you. CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE I am probably never going to say no to more acquaintances for Jay! Especially work related ones. We could always go with some mixture of the ideas; they have a pretty steady work history so who better to count on for digging through ancient ruins? Sounds like fun to me anyway.
CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE Well, information is important to Decima too, but they'd have to get off on good footing first so l-lol.
If thinks work out with Eusarius and Decima and it's ok w Moin, that'd be great. Fair warning, though; depending on their relationship Decima might mistake Mark for a gift. CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE Yeah I think this is great. I think I'll give Freya the chance of attacking by surprise if you're cool with that, let me just work out the details or w/e and I'll post the thing! CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE

yeah def. i wouldn't call mark overly careless if he perceives someone to be a real threat, but he does take the occasional calculated risk if he thinks that the potential gain is high enough. being on the run means that he has plenty of stories, and he may just toss decima a bone to watch her reaction.
basically i think their relationship would be like a duel: lots and lots of tiptoeing in circles and careful watching before someone lunges in for the kill lmao

| TYRAEL x DECIMA | I'm not sure Tyrael is inclined to give away his whole tome to a stranger for some gold, but for a little more insight into Tevinter History, and a steadier line of work, he'd definitly reveal some secrets, basic Arcane Warrior Techniques, maybe even write a very basic guide to the magic.
He has no qualms with working for slavers, so its not impossible for him to work for her every so often, and due to his unique magic he'd definitly pop on her list.
Maybe she arranges a meeting o learn more about him and hire him for a more sensitive job.

LAIKA OF GS! | TYRAEL x JAY | Sounds great, maybe we can start a thread where their both hired to protect a scholar while he surveys some recently discovered ancient ruins. Or something like that. dd/Subtract.

sure, that sounds reasonable. if he's managed to complete a few jobs without messing everything up maybe she could "entrust" him to escort the cargo home with minimal "property" damage (and thus minimal reduction on price)? they could meet that way, if that's alright with you. CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE sounds great! would you mind starting the thread? CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE Hmm I'm not sure. While this could be really interesting, it just seems out of character for Decima to go after someone with Athras's position and resources? After all, who wants to shit where they eat?
Decima could always be a supplier, though. The slave trade is the lifeblood of Tevinter, after all, and she's never been one to turn down coin. If that doesn't work, I'll try to think of something else and get back to you. CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE
