she does not like blood mages and spirit healers. dude that is like mark and his spirit healing companion right there. mark isn't particularly showy unless the situation is dire, however. i mean if you want to live more than a couple of years as a blood mage, i imagine that he can't be. fuck, he hasn't even been accepted yet but idc since you probs don't care either i mean c'mon. i think it would be fun if we started them off fast and furious like...cornered by templars and forced to fight together maybe. he's a friendly guy who isn't looking to scare anyone away! haha yeeeeep. they're human though--she'd be more Actively Disapproving if they were elves, but since they're humans she's probably like "what do you expect, of course a human mage would be that weak." A little contemptuous maybe, but she'd be polite and hide it unless really pressed.
Fast and furious sounds good by me though! I really want to RP Dragon Age magic lolol. Mark travels around a lot, right? Leithian is a very new Kirkwall transplant, so I can set her in nearby areas pretty recently as well, especially on the road, as she was making her way to the ever lovely city of chains, if that gives a better context for our TEMPLAR BRAWLZ. I do have an idea of an interesting job she might hire her for, however, but that depends on seeing how her plot unfolds wrt her past clan. haha no man it's cool like. this is a dude who was literally raised not to touch blood magic with a fifty yard pole and then he goes and dunks himself in it for a fun little personal experiment. i mean he's been a blood mage for ten years and i reckon there's a good chance he's gotten plenty of flack and death attempts for it.
wait...is kirkwall the 'city of chains' im not good w the lore srry. but yea!! u can feel free to set the thing wherever and i can drop him in. i imagine that being on the run for ten years means that there's a good chance that the older templars would have at least heard of him. and lumped him together w our little conflict. hahaha omg he would totally be down with letting up on a few blood mage 'secrets' about the art for a few pointers on slamming enemies onto the ground. i think mark would find it equally as hilarious if gabe went around circles tainting the ears of the precious young apprentices. mark just. he was never the mage to get overly flustered about his abilities or wallow in them to the point where it became a problem so i think it would be refreshing to see another mage who doesn't fear their powers all the time. that got old in his first twenty years of life okay. the circle of magi is just not a healthy place for most mages to be in his opinion (he butted heads w wynne a lot and can't say that he was too sad to hear about her fate - karma, he would call it, even though he doesn't believe in that sort of thing).

i also think that it would be hilarious if this was set after beautiful generation because if he asked her about mark she would probably have a mini crisis over "omg did i forget the names of my underlings AGAIN oh god what kind of leader am i" but bounce back p quickly lmao

LOLOLOL. Well, Leithian doesn't look Dalish on first glance (or second) and I think she might need to interact with Alya further before she ventured forth the information willingly. I'm still swinging, honestly, on whether she'd consider her some sort of "sell-out" or not. Alya's not just willingly consorting and mingling with non-Dalish, after all, she's enjoying it, le horreur. But Leithian is working through her own feelings on being Dalish, and her thoughts on non Dalish, after what happened with her clan, so I think tossing them together in a thread would be fun either way.
...I just have no idea how they'd meet, jaja.

Oh man, I hope Gabriel's blatant dgaf attitude doesn't disillusion her--although I guess that if a Warden needs one quality and one quality only, it's the desire to do anything to kill lots of darkspawn, and he's got that in spades. honestly alya would probably ask leithian who she's even selling out to when the entire clan is dead, but i don't think she would be too personally affronted about it. i mean she probably had to grow up with a lot of old conservative dalish attitudes too, but that p much feels like a lifetime ago to her. i think leithian would feel a lot like a woman from a different age to alya. which is kinda weird considering how much older she is but yeah.
doesn't leithian work at a bar. maybe alya was stopping by to buy her underlings a few drinks or something and mentions that she's dalish to them, and hopefully that will...be enough to get leithian to ... offer actual interaction?? idk she is like a mystery to me

NAMÁRIË + IDK apparently i'm a big baby who can't stay away from this site even though i'm supposed to be studying. but i needed to post right now because i realised that namarie's personal text and eusarius' are from the same song and clearly this is A Sign, okay??
alright so. eusarius fought in seheron for a couple of years, idk, they could have crossed paths back then? maybe when she was a fog warrior? i'm trying to remember what fenris was saying about fog warriors, and i don't think an unexpected meeting between a tevinter squad and the fog warriors would result in a fight on site, though i'm probably wrong. so we could do a flashback thread, idk??
OR, namarie and jenova. i have no idea how an interaction between these two would go? like, at all? um, jenova doesn't really care about the politics of something happening so far away from her reasonably insular circle of interest, so idk. could be cool to thread someone politically apathetic and a revolutionary?

I think it's definitely possible for them to have run into each other when she was still a Fog Warrior, yeah! From what I've read on the Fog Warriors + remember from Fenris, I think it's very possible that if they ran into each other right after a battle or something, they might be like. "Hmm let's not do this right now," and not try to kill each other for the day. Namarie loathes the Imperium, but she's also not interested in hopeless fights.
Namarie and Jenova, yes!!!!! I think Namarie is v resigned to most people outside of Seheron not really caring at all, but it would still be cool to bounce off of them, and I can see Namarie offering Jenova a contract for covert ops on Seheron if she was interested? Even if she wasn't, they could still talk.

If you want, I have another elf I can toss his way as well: Namarie is a Seheron revolutionary who feels no particular loyalty to elves in general, only to her nation, and she loathes the Imperium. If he's ever ventured to Seheron, they might have encountered one another?
